The simple idea
24" pads are the full-size solution — built for a real service environment where the lift has to handle all kinds of vehicles. You need coverage that works no matter what rolls in, so a full-length pad is the right default for busy shops and multi-vehicle bays.
12" pads (sold as a set of two) were designed for less demanding situations — for example a known vehicle or a more limited use case where pad placement can guarantee coverage on that setup. The 12" set is $110 and lets you protect both posts for about what a dealership-style bay might spend on a single full-size unit. Same foam pad construction; sized for shops that don’t need full-length coverage on every vehicle.

Fit notes
- Designed for 2-post automotive lifts (door protection at the pad/arm contact area).
- Full-size 24" = maximum flexibility across vehicle mix.
- All pads are 2" thick and 18.75" wide; 12" or 24" tall.
- Foam pads with a pre-applied Scotch 300LSE high-strength adhesive backing that attaches them to the hoist; the foam pad itself is not adhesive.
- 12" set = both posts covered for about single-pad pricing when full length isn’t required.
